Can I download free old adventure games?

Is there anyway to download free , old adventure games? I loved games like. Little Big Adventure The Dig Congo Or even games of the Doom era? Monkey Island sounded like fun! Just some stuff with a little character. Any recommendations ? Thanks.

4. Try Reflexive.com Big fish Games, Oberon, Reflex arcade games.
5. There are sites where you can download "emulators" for Sega and Nintendo systems. They also provide ROMS for most of the games supported by those systems. The games are obsolete and no longer on the market. Licensing is by rote, they are in the public domain. You need to download and install an emulator and then choose your games. You will need a Joystick or pad controller for most. Some will work with the keyboard. I haven't had any luck using any with a mouse. Check out these links and good luck!
